Lisbon-based illustrator Cristiana Couceiro creates beautiful collages that include newspaper titles and vintage photos. Her style is very personal and I really like it.
I've fallen in love with Annika Svenmarck's photographs. There is a unique, elegant and poetic touch to them, and the artist is obviously very talented! For example, I find that the second picture, the one in which she holds the book, is really a beautiful metaphor of how one feels when immersed in a good novel.
The Four Seasons Hotel in Florence, Italy, really fascinates me. The city (where to start?), the subtle choice of colors in the hotel's decor, the marvelous frescas on the ceilings, the gardens... Beyond the obvious luxury, it really seems to me like the perfect set for a Hollywood period drama... I find it extremely romantic and I really love this place.
If you are a fan of Dominique Issermann's photographs (like I am), you should know that the photographer has been selling boxes of 60 or 200 postcards made from some of her most beautiful pictures, in the Merci shop (read more here) since December 2009.
